The My Byte App is a Tele-Dentistry app that provided support, useful tools and relevant information to users enrolled in Byte at home aligners.
It allowed users to set reminders, gave access to tutorials and facilitated check-ins with the Byte staff.
It also kept track of user's progress and integrated a shop and discount section for selected products.

I worked as a Senior UX designer and DesignOps facilitator, creating dedicated libraries that enabled the design team to work faster and made handoff with the dev team more accurate. I was also involved in prototyping, screen and flow design both for testing, stakeholder approvals and user testing.
We used those learnings and processes to improve and grow the design system on the main webpage (which held most of the e-commerce operations) and to boost design work in related products and product proposals.

Continuous research and a lean approach to make design decisions allowed us to iterate quickly and respond to errors and user requests. A coherent design system permitted us to stay on brand and keep the ui elements easy to understand for our users while innovating and introducing new and useful features.

My biggest two learnings from this project were how constant research and listening can focus the design work, and not to be afraid of iterating on a “live” app. If new features improve the experience, they'll be welcome.
We managed to find a balance between data-informed changes and establishing patterns that helped users maintain their routines, which was key to create true value for our customers.
